Pole Top Disconnect Switch
1. No arc extinguishing capability: Cannot switch on/off under load, must be used in conjunction with a circuit breaker.
2. Visible break: Creates a clear gap when opened, meeting safety isolation requirements.
3. Small current switching: Allows opening and closing of no-load lines with capacitive current ≤5A and transformer magnetizing current ≤2A.
4. Conductive parts: Contacts, blades, and terminal blocks are made of copper alloy to enhance conductivity.
5. Insulation system: Porcelain or silicone rubber post insulators (the latter has better pollution resistance).
6. Operating mechanism: Manual lever (economical type) or electric mechanism (for intelligent applications).
